2. Did you know each transducer (on the new Sheryl Crow SJ Special Edition) is hand-placed on the bridge plate in order to capture the best of both the treble and bass response of the guitar. Placing them too close together, too far apart, too far forward on the bridge plate or too far back affects the reproductive tone quality of the guitar. In order to find the sweet spot Gibson Acoustic’s Custom Shop experimented for “more than a month on a multitude of guitars,” according to our go-to guy Jason.
